Employability 5, (taught during semester 6) continues to prepare students to enter the professional world. In this module, students will focus on interviews with the aim to:<br>- further develop job search strategies 'hedgehog' attitude<br>- learn how to screen company structure organisation and culture <br>- know how to use search tools & organisation<br>- practice job interviews<br>- know how to benchmark salary & approach salary negotiation<br><br>Assessment <br>Job interview assessment & debrief<br>Negotiation interview assessment & debrief<br>Case study salary benchmark<br><br>The teaching unit 'International Openness' in semester 6 incorporates the following modules:<br>Cultural Awareness 2<br>Advanced English Skills 6<br>French as a Foreign Language (different level groups)<br>Optional Foreign Language (different languages and level groups)<br><br>The Self Awareness teaching unit in semester 6 incorporates the module entitled 'Psychology 2' in which the focus is on behavioural pschology of both oneself and others.<br><br>Seminar 6, entitled 'Gathering Our Learnings and Dreams Together', marks the midway point of the ECAM Engineering programme and aims to allow third year students to take stock of what has gone before whilst looking ahead to the future.<br><br>The teaching unit 'Understanding our Surroundings' in semester 6 incorporates the module 'Communication 6' which has a focus on professional communication in order to prepare our future engineers to communicate in an efficient, credible and respectful manner both face to face (eg. meetings) on the phone and in writing.
