DESIGN TECHNOLOGIES FOR MASTERS :
This module covers advanced electronic system design techniques. This includes Computer Aided Design using VHDL entry and advanced digital simulation using Xlinx. Design techniques include synchronous as well as asynchronous circuits. High level synthesis is covered as a top down design approach including data flow graphs. Designing digital system using modulo-2 arithmetic including linear filters are covered as well. VHDL is covered in detail including combinatorial and sequential system design.

DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING :
This module provides an advanced study of modern digital signal processing (DSP) and some of its major applications. The module starts with discrete time analysis of signals and systems in the time domain and frequency domain. It also covers multi-rate processing, interpolation and decimation techniques. Finite Impulse Response and Infinite Impulse Response will be covered in depth. Other applications include mixed analogue digital signal processing, delta-sigma coversion, linear estimation, adaptive filtering, subj-band coding and 2D image processing. DSP devices and architectures will be covered and reinforced with practical and simulation laboratory sessions.
PHOTOVOLTAIC TECHNOLOGY :
This module is designed to give in-depth knowledg required to design and fabricate solar cell.
