• Understand and control simple robotic architectures<br>• Understand the stakes of robotics in terms of industry and society<br>• Choose the adequate robotic solution for the context<br><br>• Create parameter models (expressed as ODEs) of simple dynamic systems in the electrical and mechanical domains<br>• Make quantitative estimates of model parameters from experimental measurements<br>• Compensate the transient response of dynamic systems using feedback techniques<br>• Design, implement and test an active control system to achieve a desired performance measure<br>• Solve a problem with a global understanding of the system<br>• Make hypothesis and simplification<br>• Evaluate the performance theoretically and experimentally<br><br>This IT or Electronics Expertise course will introduce microcontroller architecture and functioning. By programming professional microcontroller, the students will discover the arithmetic logic of machines, memories functions, digital control and its requirement, the interfaces and communication methods between sensors, motors, motherboards, and daughterboards.<br>More advanced knowledge of programming in C and C++ will be introduced.<br><br>• Challenge your-self with quick design of robots or control of complex/intelligent systems<br>• Acquire an application-oriented thinking and a technical culture to find innovative cost-effective solution<br>• Learn how to structure a project for complex multidisciplinary problematics as a team<br>• Answer to exigent derivable with short delays<br>• First experience of complete design and prototyping<br>• Multidisciplinary project management with mechanics, electronics and programming<br>• Work as a team of 5 in very short period of time<br>• Acquire systemic capitalization practice
