This course will focus on extending calculus and algebra topics from previous semesters, in order to acquire or consolidate the theoretical mathematical tools of the engineer.<br><br>To solve mathematical problems numerically through computer programming:<br>1. Describe a mathematical problem<br>2. Develop numerical methods for solving the equations<br>3. Implement an appropriate numerical algorithm using Octave<br>4. Calculate numerical solutions<br>5. Estimate numerical calculations errors<br>6. Provide graphical illustrations<br> |
