Assessment(s)
Nature Coefficient Observable objectives
1Midterm 1 Students will have a mid-term at the mid-course about the topics covered in the first half of the course.0,25In this midterm, the students will be evaluated in the following topics:
- Classes of Materials and Manufacturing Processes
- Atomic Bonding
- Atomic and Crystalline Structures
- Crystallographic Directions and Planes
- Material Properties
2At the end of the course, there will be a final exam about all the concepts covered in the course. The exam consists of short questions as well as thorough analysis problems.0,30The final exam tests the students’ understanding of the entire course, which includes:
- Classes of Materials and Manufacturing Processes
- Atomic Bonding
- Atomic and Crystalline Structures
- Crystallographic Directions and Planes
