Learning Outcomes |

By the end of this module, students will be able to : 1. Determine the mathematical model of an LTI system : Mainly the use of differential equations and the application of the Laplace transform to find the transfer function 2. Apply the reduction block diagram rules to find the transfer function of a given LTI system 3. Describe and analyze the response of a first and a second order system 4. Evaluate the performances of a first and second order system 5. Identify the difference between Proportional, Integral , Derivative controllers or any combinaison of these three basic controllers 6. Understand the use of the aformentioned controllers, implement them (with respect to some specifications) on some real systems and interpret the obtained results |
