Learning Outcomes |
---|
By the end of this course, students will be able to: 1. Use the Scrum framework to manage nimbly a project 2. Face the difficulty of hardware programming 3. State a problem, read and write technical specifications 4. Design a robotic system using various kinds of sensors and actuators 5. Program either mobile robots or robot arms to achieve complex tasks (using ROS optionally) |
Content |
---|
The scrum methodology is introduced to the students. Then, they apply this agile framework during the whole duration of the project. Each group of students receives a project of robotic application. They state the problem before designing the robotic system that corresponds to the specifications. Then, they build their system and test it extensively. Finally, each group presents their work and write a report describing the technical and managerial aspects of the project. |

N° | Nature | Coefficient | Observable objectives |
1 | Observable objectives: written report in which students will be evaluated on their ability to synthesize the technical specifications required to build a complex robotic system for a given task and also to explain the project planning they followed with graphs. | 0,5 | 1, 2, 3, 4 |
2 | Observable objectives: oral presentation in which students will be evaluated on their ability to synthesize the technical specifications required to build a complex robotic system for a given task and also to explain the project planning they followed with graphs. | 0,5 | 1, 2, 3, 4 |
