*Groups are organised by TOEIC score so content and objectives vary according to students' different levels Strengthen and consolidate vocabulary Acquire grammatical accuracy Improve listening and reading comprehension skills Improve oral expression and fluency TOEIC preparation to work towards a minimum TOEIC score of 800 required to graduate (lower-level groups) Develop awareness of international current affairs, especially related to technical and scientific issues Introduction to scientific writing Acquire technical language related to fields of engineering Compétences visées: *B1 learners or lower are expected to dedicate additional hours of study in order to attain a B2 level B2 level Listening comprehension: Can understand standard spoken language on both familiar and unfamiliar topics normally encountered in personal, academic or vocational life. Can understand the main ideas of complex speech on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in listener's field of specialisation. Can follow extended speech with complex lines of argument, for example in lectures, radio documentaries and live interviews. Reading comprehension: Can understand a broad range of texts and specialised articles. Can identify the content and relevance of news items, articles and reports.
